Hello!

My name is Amy Hillegass. I have a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design and Development from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

I love color, fabrics, textures, and all the details of a garment. I have loved fashion for as long as I remember. As a teenager I would be found at the mall and my head in fashion magazines. My aunt once told me she had never seen me in a sweatshirt. Although, I do wear sweats from time to time :)

I started Polished to help people feel confident, successful, and happy with their appearance. Fashion does not need to be super expensive or uncomfortable! This is an investment into yourself, your career, and your relationship.
